About Dr. Babington

Dr. Babington is a board-certified neurosurgeon specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of spinal conditions. A graduate of the University of Virginia, where he was an Echols Scholar, Dr. Babington completed a general surgery internship followed by a neurosurgery residency at The George Washington University. During his training, he operated at George Washington Hospital, Fairfax Inova, Children’s National Medical Center, and the National Institutes of Health, working alongside world-renowned surgeons.

He remains at the forefront of spinal surgery innovation, contributing to the development of advanced surgical instruments and hardware. As the founding member of the only Barricaid Annular Closure Device Center of Excellence on the East Coast, Dr. Babington is committed to advancing minimally invasive spine techniques and next-generation therapies in spinal care.
