About Dr. Horn

Dr. Scott Horn is a board-certified physiatrist specializing in interventional spine and musculoskeletal care. He earned his Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine from Des Moines University and completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of North Carolina Hospital in Chapel Hill. He went on to complete a fellowship in Spine and Sports Medicine in Winston-Salem, NC.

Dr. Horn focuses on non-surgical treatments for orthopedic and spine conditions, including image-guided spine, joint, and tendon injections. He also performs regenerative medicine procedures such as platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and bone marrow concentrate (BMC) injections.

Nationally recognized for his expertise in health policy and interventional procedures, Dr. Horn serves on the Board of Directors for the Spine Intervention Society (SIS) and is Chair of its Health Policy Division. He also represents SIS as its Advisor to the American Medical Association for medical coding and has served on the FDA Advisory Panel for epidural steroid injections. In addition, he holds leadership roles with the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the North American Spine Society.
