
A Montgomery County native, Shera Gaisin brings a diverse background and a whole-person approach to patient care. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Religion from Yeshiva University’s Stern College for Women, followed by a Master of Social Work from the University of Maryland, Baltimore.
Driven by her passion for medicine, Shera went on to complete the Master of Science in Health Science through the University of Maryland’s Physician Assistant Program. She is nationally board-certified and licensed to practice in Maryland.
Shera joined OrthoBethesda in September 2025, where she integrates a bio-psycho-social model into her care. By blending medical expertise with attention to patients’ emotional and social well-being, she provides compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to each individual’s needs.
